Kempsey Shire Council releases Requests for Quotation (RFQ), Requests for Tender (RFT) and Expressions of Interest (EOI) through a web portal hosted by eProcure.

Council will place notifications and receive responses to EOIs, RFQs and RFTs electronically through this portal at no cost to suppliers. It provides a simple, secure and efficient means for managing tendering activities and quotations.

As a supplier, in order to be notified of and respond to future opportunities you will need to register with eProcureRegistration is free.

As a registered supplier, you can:

  1. receive email notifications of any new opportunities that become available
  2. view and download documentation directly from this portal
  3. seek clarification or ask questions about current opportunities
  4. receive information issued in relation to current opportunities

TQE20/11 - Provision of Electrical, Telemetry and Automation Services

Kempsey Shire Council is seeking Tenders from appropriately qualified and experienced Tenderers for the turn-key provision of industrial electrical installations works, and/or telemetry, PLC, SCADA, control systems design, configuration, upgrades, & integration services - within water & sewer industrial automation environments.

The objective of this RFT is to appoint a panel of suitably qualified and experienced Contractors who:

  • will engage with the Council in a panel for a maximum period of six [6] years. This Contract is for a term of two [2] years with two [2] options to extend each for a period of two [2] years. Such options are for the benefit of Council and extensions may only be exercised by Council in its sole discretion.
  • have the capacity and capability to respond to Orders in a timely manner.
  • will provide the Council with the best value and quality of Service(s).
  • support local industry.

Contractor(s) appointed under the Panel will:

  • be a suitably qualified and experienced Contractor which can provide Industrial Electrical Services, and/or Telemetry, PLC, SCADA, Control Systems Design, Configuration, Upgrades, & Integration Services to Council’s water & sewer department.
  • provide a cost-effective Service(s) that is performed in a safe, environmentally responsible manner, and in full compliance with relevant statutory requirements.
  • provide technical expertise and designs to meet the requirements of water & sewer infrastructure.
  • ensure designs and products are engineered and manufactured to the relevant Australian Standards.
  • ensure timely, efficient, and cost-effective delivery of services, to provide the best value for Council.

The Council’s Local Preference Purchasing Procedure adopted on 20 March 2018 applies to this Tender.

TQE20/24 - South Kempsey Pressure Sewer Scheme

Council is inviting tenders from suitably qualified contractors for the installation of pressure sewer reticulation and property works within the South Kempsey Industrial Employment hub. Work includes the construction of the pressure sewer reticulation network and connection of participating properties along the designed pipeline route.

The proposal is partially funded as part of the NSW Government’s Regional Growth Fund and specifically through the Growing Local Economies Fund and is expected to have a significant beneficial impact on the economy and public health of the Kempsey community.

The provision of centralised sewerage will remove the environmental and public health burden imposed on individual allotments and encourage growth and expansion within existing businesses and allow new businesses to establish. The provision of sewer infrastructure will allow development of existing enterprises that are currently contemplating business expansion.

TQE21/20 - Supply and delivery of pavement materials

Tenders are invited for the supply and delivery of pavement material to various locations within the Kempsey Shire area.

The Principal proposes to enter into a contract in the form of the Head Agreement with the successful tenderers to establish a panel of suppliers for the Goods/Services.

This is a Schedule of Rates tender and separates rates are to be provided for the supply and delivery.

Fixed delivery rates are to provided for each delivery zone as identified in the attached documents.

Alternative materials and pricing will be considered only if the tenderer has completed one or more item on the price schedule for a complying tender.

TQE21/32 - EOI for Lease of 16 Forth Street, Kempsey

Council is seeking expressions of interest (EOI) from commercial businesses, community groups, and not-for-profit organisations to lease a parcel of Council-owned land at 16 Forth Street in Kempsey, NSW.

The Lessee will enter into a lease with Council for use of the parcel of land and pay a set annual rental fee and any outgoings (charges for utilities and other services to the leased area that are used or required such as rates, water access and water usage.)

The arrangement will take the form of a lease, which will grant exclusive access and use of the land in return for payment of rent.

Proposals should be submitted in accordance with instructions included in the information documents and lodged in the electronic tender box on eProcure prior to the closing time and date. 

Council may also consider alternative proposals (such as a license agreement which provides non-exclusive access to utilise the land in return for payment of a licence fee) by parties who express interest in utilising the land in a manner that contributes to its successful ongoing management.
