Summary

Kempsey Shire Council is constructing a new water treatment plant at Crescent Head.

This will replace the existing water treatment system and help us provide a robust, safe and secure drinking water supply to the Crescent Head community.

 

 

Status

Council is working on the concept design for the Crescent Head Water Treatment Plant.

 

Once the NSW Department of Planning, Industry and Environment has endorsed the concept design, Council will complete the technical specification and documentation to enable tendering of the project.

Timeframe

Construction is scheduled to begin in 2024.

Funding

This project will be funded by Council with support from the NSW Government’s Safe and Secure Water Program.
