Council proposes pursuant to Section 128 of the Roads Act to issue a permit for the operation of a Public Gate within Saleyards Road at the Council Saleyards site.
The gate is proposed to ensure safer movement of cattle across Saleyards Road during sale days. The gate will only be closed during the movement of cattle for a duration of approximately three (3) minutes for each crossing.
Comments on the proposed gate are invited and will be received within 28 days from the date of this notice.
