Macleay Living Sustainably calls for festival volunteers

Are you passionate about helping our environment?

Macleay Living Sustainable are seeking volunteers for their Sustainability Fest!

Macleay Living Sustainable invites everyone to celebrate World Environment Day and to attend their Sustainability Showcase on the Saturday 5th June from 8am – 1pm at the Kempsey Riverside Markets. The Showcase will include information around the transition to renewable energy and addressing the climate emergency, as well as advocating for more sustainable lifestyles by reducing waste, reusing, and recycling resources.

On Saturday June 19th, Sustainability Fest will travel to Melville High School for the Sustainability Forum. The Forum will be a full-day event comprising of panel speakers, performances and workshops to provide attendees with a deeper understanding of the future concerns for our environment.

Guest speakers include Aunty Lynne Holten, Amanda Cahill - The Next Economy, Julie Lyford - Gloucester Transitions, Mark Graham - Centre for Ecological Learning, Gemma Plesman - The Wilderness Society and more!
