Other ways to recycle

Aside from putting recyclable waste in the correct kerbside bins or at Council’s Waste Management Centre, did you know that you can take your waste to other locations?

Plastic bags and soft plastic packaging can be taken to any participating store with a REDcycle bin. Locally, Coles and Woolworths Supermarkets have bins located at the front of the store.

By utilising the REDcycle bins your helping to keep those items out of landfill (not to mention our beaches, rivers and parks).

Eligible cans, bottles and soft drink containers can also be collected and taken to a Return and Earn vending machine for a 10-cent refund.

There are two reverse vending machines located in Kempsey and one in South West Rocks.
