Lighting works begin at Verge and Eden Street Sporting Complex

Sporting clubs and community members can look forward to better and brighter lighting at the Verge and Eden Street Sporting Complex.
The installation of competition standard lighting at the Verge and Eden Streets Sporting Complex has begun with excavation and pouring for the footings commencing on Monday 24th May 2021.
The initial focus of the works will look at sporting fields Verge 2, Eden 1, Eden 2 and then Verge 1, with the running track and netball courts following on.
These works will occur off the fields to limit the impact on users.
