Kempsey Shire Library is proud to announce a program of free upcoming events that has something to delight everyone.

As part of the Macleay Seniors and Youth Week Festivals, the Library is inviting everyone in the community to come along and enjoy an exciting array of performances, workshops and interactive activities.

All events are free, but to stay COVID-safe bookings are required.

Musical performances - Monday to Wednesday

This week come along to the library between 4.30-5pm and be entertained by local musicians: Jack Goodchild, Nathan Douglas and Liam Moylan. You could relax as you sit and listen to their signature acoustic stylings or enjoy their music as you browse the shelves for your next favourite book. This is a fantastic opportunity to support some of the Shire’s best young performers.

Earth Day Art - Thursday

Interested in creating your own unique tote bag? From 4-5pm, local artists Virginia, Kate and Rachel are using their creative talents to guide participants to create unique, upcycled Earth Day art. Participants will design a reusable canvas bag, perfect for carrying books, laptop or groceries. All materials will be provided.

Modelling class - Friday

Whether you are interested in learning modelling on a professional level or simply to improve your self-confidence, this is the deportment class for you! EveryBODY has the ability to shine, and Lee will help you realise your full potential through this guided class that covers everything from deportment, posture, nutrition, etiquette, makeup application, catwalk skills and photographic techniques.

Bookings for these events are essential. To register please visit the library, call 6566 3210 or email kempsey.library@kempsey.nsw.gov.au
