Skills and abilities

Your skills and abilities can include what you've learned on-the-job and off-the-job. You can include all types of transferable skills in your application.

Underpinning knowledge, including qualifications

Explain your qualifications of any kind that might support your ability to perform the role. You can also include information you learned on-the-job that did not give you a formal qualification. In your application, describe any transferable skills that may not be obvious in your position titles.

Relevant work experience

Include in your application any experience that increases your potential to be able to perform the role. The experience does not have to be industry-specific.

Shortlisting

Once the closing date has passed, we review all the applications we've received and make a shortlist of applicants. Our shortlisting process is based on how well your knowledge, skills and abilities meet the criteria listed in the position description. We then hold interviews and assess shortlisted applicants against the knowledge, skills and qualifications outlined in the position description. We fill all roles on merit.
